Die Algorand Foundation hat die Integration des Wormhole Native Token Transfers (NTT) Standards auf der Algorand-Blockchain bekannt gegeben. The integration of Wormhole's NTT standard positions Algorand as a premier chain within the Wormhole ecosystem, allowing developers to issue and transfer tokens across chains natively, without the need for wrapped assets. This development sets the stage for the upcoming launch of the FOLKS token and future cross-chain DeFi expansion on Algorand.

Key benefits of the NTT integration include the ability for Algorand developers to mint NTT-based tokens using existing standards and tools, opening new pathways for multichain liquidity and cross-ecosystem user flows. Retail users will be able to move assets directly between Algorand and other NTT-enabled chains through familiar interfaces, simplifying access to liquidity and expanding use cases for Algorand-based applications.
Token-Emittenten aus anderen Ökosystemen können nun ihre Vermögenswerte nativ auf Algorand bereitstellen, neue Benutzer, Liquiditätspools und DeFi-Protokolle freischalten, ohne ihre Token einwickeln oder spiegeln zu müssen.
