Metaplanet Erhöht Bitcoin-Bestand auf Über 15.500 BTC mit Neuer Akquisition

Das in Japan ansässige Unternehmen Metaplanet hat seinen Bitcoin-Bestand durch den Kauf von zusätzlichen 2.205 BTC auf insgesamt 15.555 BTC erhöht. Der jüngste Kauf kostete etwa 34,49 Milliarden Yen (213 Millionen US-Dollar), wobei der Durchschnittspreis pro Coin bei 15,64 Millionen Yen lag. Die Gesamtinvestition des Unternehmens beläuft sich nun auf ungefähr 225,82 Milliarden Yen (1,38 Milliarden US-Dollar), erworben zu einem Durchschnittspreis von 14,52 Millionen Yen pro Bitcoin. Diese aggressive Kaufstrategie ist Teil der langfristigen Bitcoin-Treasury-Strategie von Metaplanet.

Metaplanet employs a unique metric known as BTC Yield to illustrate the change in Bitcoin value per share. For the quarter ending June 30, the company reported a 95.6% BTC Yield, following an impressive 309.8% in the previous quarter. This metric provides investors with insight into how each share appreciates in Bitcoin, taking into account dilution from new shares or bonds. Additionally, the firm monitors BTC Gain and BTC Yen Gain to offer a comprehensive view of its strategy. These indicators reflect both potential BTC increases and yen-based returns.

Metaplanets fortgesetzte Käufe deuten auf ein starkes Vertrauen in den langfristigen Wert von Bitcoin hin, mit Plänen, bis Ende 2027 insgesamt 210.000 BTC zu halten.
